Enlightenment Tarot

My name is Jennifer, and I’m a tarot reader.

Luckily, that’s not all I am. I’m also an artist, a cook, a gardener and a wrangler of kids. I enjoy learning about all sorts of things, and have a tendency to throw myself into new subjects with wild abandon.

I’ve been reading tarot since 1996, and reading about tarot just as long! My first book on the cards was Spiritual Tarot: Seventy-Eight Paths to Personal Development, and it strongly influenced my views on what tarot is, and how it can be used to better a person’s life.

In the hands of a skilled reader, Tarot can be an incredible tool for finding guidance, advice and comfort. I have found that Tarot provides insight into all of life’s questions.

I picked up my first Rider-Waite deck in 1996, and I haven’t stopped reading the cards since then. My reading style has evolved over time from a strict traditionalist style to a more intuitive and free flowing type of reading. Today, I use the Connolly Tarot deck, which features fairly traditional imagery in a lovely rich stained glass style. I’ve used this deck since 1998 and it has rarely failed me.

My readings have been described by my clients as ‘spiritual two-by-fours to the head’, ‘eye opening’ and as ‘the most amazing experience — I’ve got chills’. In my hands, Tarot becomes a tool for self examination and spiritual growth; truths become evident and falsehoods are revealed as such.

In any reading, my goal is to provide my client with insight and advice that is immediately and deeply relevant to their current life situation. I excel at spiritual readings, questions of fate and destiny, and questions of the souls purpose in life.
